Jackie Olson

After becoming a foster parent and now adoptive parent of four children, I discovered a love of and passion for the family system as well as community systems, which matches beautifully with the MFT systemic perspective. I love seeing how systems work together and the positive changes we can make in our families and communities through personal growth. Having spent a great deal of time with therapists for my children, I have developed a passion for Internal Family Systems, Somatic/Experiential therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as filial play therapy. I have special interest in working with those with trauma, and having seen the immense impacts in my own family, I look forward to the opportunity to work with other families giving them hope for change within their own systems.
